Teresa is widely recognized as a visionary leader with nearly thirty years of broad-based expertise in hospice care, financial management and technology. She has the proven ability to align business activities with the mission, vision, and strategy of the organization. Teresa has established significant partnerships with both leaders and team members, enhancing and growing operations and outcomes.
Teresa has devoted her career to advancing clinical practice with innovative technology. She served as the CEO of Suncoast Solutions for fourteen years. She led the company from startup to the leader in the hospice and home care software industry. Under Teresa’s tenure, Suncoast Solutions achieved profitability in its second year and was utilized by hospice providers to serve 1 of every 4 hospice patients in the US. She was responsible for product design and development, operations, pricing models, budgeting, negotiating contracts, insurance, and board reporting. Most recently, Teresa served as the Director, Client Strategy for Netsmart. She partnered with clients to ensure the highest quality healthcare technology and software solutions to support patients and families served by hospice, home care, palliative care, and post-acute communities.
Teresa served as the executive leader of a large hospice provider. She has significant experience as a CFO for legacy hospice providers. She started her career as a CPA and has her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University. Teresa serves on the Regulatory Committee for the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.
